LieutenantGwo vs. pilli10 was a Youtube Poop/Video tennis match that took place between on the YouChew forums between August 1 and 27, 2009. One of many "Robotnik" tennis matches to occur between the four-way collective of LieutenantGwo, thechairman45, pilli10 and PresidentOfJelybeans between 2009 and 2010, it is the only one of these matches to receive documentation on these forums, and was the first of two tennis encounters between these two players. LieutanentGwo would subsequently play PresidentOfJelybeans and thechairman45 following this exchange, those two players would also face each other, and thechairman45 would also face pilli10 before all of them attempted a 4-way in August 2010 that lasted six rounds. As with most of the above matches, The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is the predominant source used and re-added through all 6 rounds of this exchange, with other sources used including the original theme music for Mortal Kombat(Arcade, 1992), a gif of Scorpion's sprite from said game, high-quality, background-less versions of the cutscenes from Hotel Mario(CD-i, 1994), furry porn of Krystal from Star Fox Adventures(GCN, 2003) and of Pikachu from the Pokemon franchise, a sprite of Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog 2(Sega Genesis, 1992), a sprite of Chrono from Chrono Trigger(SNES, 1995), the tracks "Dr. Robotnik's Theme (Boss)" and the "Game Over" music from the Sonic the Hedgehog 1(Sega Genesis, 1991) OST, multiple generic "hentai" images, a background-less version of Meet The Scout(2008), the track "Character Select" from the Super Mario Bros. 2(NES, 1988) OST, sprites of Mario from both Super Mario Bros.(NES, 1985) and Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga(GBA, 2003), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation(Season 4 Episode 5 - "Fur and Loathing"(2003), infamously known for its surface-level and skewed portrayal of furry culture).

It was the second known match played by both LieutanantGwo (and the first he played under this name) and pilli10. With both players being furries, the titles of the match tell a story in which Robotnik embarks on a quest to have furry sex, initially struggles to get himself in the mood, before finally achieving his goal in a silly, somewhat unusual fashion. Each round starts with a direct title card intro to dictate what round of the match it is and which player its directed toward. Editing over the previous round is usually confined to the beginning or first half of each round, with the second half being dedicated to further added AoSTH footage that makes more minute uses of previous moments in the match, and most feature a "joke" "Sonic Says" segment containing one final concentrated moment before showing the end credits overdubbed with a different song, as was typical of AoSTH YTPs in this period. Songs overdubbed onto the credits include "John Freeman 2009 (feat. J. Queenston)"(2009) by Furries in a Blender, a reprisal of "Dr. Robotnik's Theme (Boss)" from the Sonic the Hedgehog 1(Sega Genesis, 1991) OST, and others [note: source list incomplete]. Much of the match is driven by sexual sentence-mixed dialogue by Robotnik in all 6 rounds, which include copious and repeated references to his penis.
The match was originally billed as "hockey"[1] (and "youtube poop sports" by Jamesdeth[2]) in an effort to differentiate it from tennis due to a desire for a result that was "anti-rape" -- in modern terms, a deliberate eschewing of common tennising techniques such as Earrape, Erosion, or anything within a destructive style language. pilli10 explained "the fact rape is a common technique in tennis drives lots of fans away from it and [this renaming] make tennis more accessible for poopers who don't use, like rape much."[3] This was a sentiment that aroused criticism, as multiple present and future tennis staff members, including GameBop, RAKninja, Crash2991, RabbitSnore and ChrisGendo, all weighed in on the thread to make their own points about how "rape" was simply one technique, tennis could and had been played in multiple different styles, and that to try to call it something different was both irrelevant and, in RAK's words in particular, "making tennis increasingly INACCESSIBLE by forcing a rape stereotype onto it."[4] Despite these exchanges, RAKninja subsequently offered sentiments of solidarity and encouragement of creativity towards pilli10, as pilli subsequently expressed "I guess i got sick of people saying 'NEEDS MORE RAPE' or 'OMG THIS IS NOT TENNIS' or even 'YOU TENNIS WRONG' cus i have had it in the past."[5] It was also indicated that legendary Robotnik YTPer Boogidyboo apparently initially encouraged the match to be billed under the more welcome term of "classic tennis".[6] The match proceeded until complete without error after this discussion -- MycroProcessor commentated on the match as it was played, writing their most positive sentiments about Round 4 and 5.[7]
LieutenantGwo's channel was terminated in 2021 when it was hacked by a cryptocurrency company who attempted to upload a live Elon Musk conference on it, but was fully archived ahead of time by Nineroe. pilli10's rounds were originally uploaded on his main account and were subsequently deleted sometime after 2019, but were archived ahead of time by dani_phantump. The match was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in July 2026.
