Crash2991 vs. Furnessly was a Youtube Poop Tennis match that took place between September 18 and November 18, 2009. The matches singular quality is the theme of the sources used revolving entirely around Sega CD/Mega-CD gameplay (and system menu) footage, most notably that of Final Fight CD(1993), from which the "Mike Haggar" that is heard throughout all six rounds originates. The match ultimately uses up to a total of 14-15 Sega CD titles, including Snatcher(1994), Cyborg 009(1993), Sewer Shark(1992), Cadillacs and Dinosaurs: The Second Cataclysm(1994), Revenge of the Ninja(1994), Dragon's Lair(1993), Lunar: The Silver Star Story(1992), Sonic CD(1993), The Ninja Warriors(1993) and The Amazing Spider-Man vs. The Kingpin(1993). As such, it is driven entirely by this footage as its main feature, with all of the editing between rounds kept very minimal. Both players also took the additional step to use Windows Movie Maker as the tool of choice, with Crash having used it as a staple over the last year and Furnessly adopting it specifically for this match.
It was the 18th match completed by Crash2991[1] and the 12th match completed by Furnessly[2], and also the final full match to be completed by both during their active or initial time as tennis players. While Crash2991 would never complete a full match after this, Furnessly would eventually return to the community on a more substantial basis in 2026, and play his first complete match in 17 years with newer tennis staff member Letycjusz S. dani_phantump has referred to this match on multiple occasions as their favorite of all time[3][4], and Furnessly himself later regarded the match as "fairly high in the rankings, probably my second or third favourite."[5]
With Crash2991 privating his videos in 2011 and Furnessly deleting his account in 2018, the match became lost and forgotten for many years. Its original thread received barely any notice and it only can be seen in less obvious timestamps in Wayback Machine archives of the YouChew forums where it was played. dani_phantump subsequently recounted the process of rediscovering the original thread and the rounds in separate video archives on Archive.org and figuring out how they went together with little guidance, "going purely off of the progressions that seemed fully logical between videos."[6] All rounds were reuploaded all at once on January 18, 2025, and all of the titles for the match's rounds had been found again by October 14, 2025, with Furnessly present to provide the missing pieces.[7] The match was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in September 2024.

His matches with TheChutley and Temeku(MTB710) were never recorded.
