NS2 vs. WowComics
| This article is about a notable Tennis Match. This match was played during the following years: 2008 |
NS2 vs. WowComics was a YouTube Poop/Video Tennis match that took place between November 19 and 28, 2008. Billed as "Reverse Tennis", both players agreed on a unique set of conditions that were meant to act as a "reverse" progression of a standard tennis match of the time. WowComics outlined them thus[1]:
| Standard, Custom | |
| "" | |
| Start Date | November 19, 2008 |
| End Date | November 28, 2008 |
| Rounds | 6 |

"NS2 and I pick 3 sources before the match begins. The one person makes a serve, using all 6 sources. Then at the end of the video they choose one source to eliminate from the match, meaning the next person has to poop that round, only using the five remaining sources, while also removing any footage of the removed source from the last round. This will keep going til round six, leaving a video with one pooped source, given a backwards tennis feel."
Other more general conditions set for the match include a minimum time length of 45 seconds, a preference for length caps on sources "so the source is recognized", and erosion techniques kept at a minimum to allow for the different sources to be told apart, in effect having this match fall into a "classic" genre of execution. The three sources chosen by NS2 were the music video for "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss"(1991) by P.M. Dawn, Welcome to the NHK(Episode 10 - "Welcome to the Dark Side!"(2006)), and the Koala Kong boss fight from Crash Bandicoot(PS1, 1997), and the three sources chosen by WowComics were his own "How to make tea"(2008), Hellsing(Episode 1 - "The Undead"(english dub, 2003)), and the manwith10toes video "FAILURES OF YOUTUBE: EPISODE 8 (SEASON FINALE)"(2008), which became the chosen source to survive through all six rounds of the match.[2]
It was the 14th match completed(but 16th played overall) by NS2[3] and the sixth match completed by WowComics. It was also the second to last match to be played in full by NS2 on his original account; following his first match with ChrisGendo subsequent to this, he would play two matches (with RabbitSnore and DaftPunkYoshi) that were called "complete" at an earlier amount of rounds than usual and enter into a hiatus during the spring of 2009. WowComics would subsequently also complete one more tennis match, a three-way with OMGulator and Futures Passed, before contributing to multiple unfinished matches with the likes of Aesaun, quax94, MelvanaInChains and TheNoooo before retiring. While the match's unique concept was praised by spectators including MAZZ0Murder and Futures Passed[4], the concept has never been tried again since.
WowComics privated all of his YTP and tennis material in early 2026, but was fully archived ahead of time by dani_phantump. NS2's rounds continue to survive in their original uploads. The match was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in April 2025, and was the first ever match to be successfully compiled in HD using infinitysnapz's new GameSetMatch custom-built compiling tool.

RetardedAnimeParody and dumbbastardfairy56 are both casual matches that did not reach the standard threshold of 6 rounds.
