GameBop vs. Moogle vs. Metzgorrre was a Youtube Poop/Video tennis match originally played as a part of the 3-Way Tennis Tournament, taking place between September 1 and 19, 2010. It was the final match played as a part of this event's defined "winners" bracket; all three players had yet to lose one game in the tournament's double-elimination structure, with the winner of this match becoming the first finalist of the event and the losers mingling with the losers bracket for at least one more set. GameBop had previously defeated RAKninja and magmalord in Set 1 and Sploltoen and MycroProcessor in Set 2, Metzgorrre had previously defeated Metroid998 and Fiddlesticks411 in Set 1 and DaftPunkYoshi and CorruptionSound in Set 2, and Moogle had made it to this set on an astonishing lucky streak; both of their Set 1 and Set 2 matches were technically lost by raw score, to Funacceptable and trepmaws respectively, but they were twice defaulted the win due to both players getting late penalties and having the second highest average score above other respective match participants XBR4D3NX and Luioigi. It was the only time any of these three players ever faced each other in any configuration. Sources used include shark footage from National Geographic, an image of Touhou Project characters Reimu Hakurei and Yukari Yakumo, Alfred Kwak, Kukori Es Kotkoda, a playthrough of Touhou Eiyashou ~ Imperishable Night(PC98, 2004), an image of a Mareep Pokemon card, audio samples of Youtube "Let's Player" raocow, a suggestive image of Cirno, a sample of M. Bison's "YES!" from Street Fighter: The Animated Series, a playthrough of crossover fangame Touhou Mother(PC98, 2009), footage of Zinedine Zidane from the 2006 Fifa World Cup Final (notably his famous headbutting of opponent player Marco Materazzi), "pictures of Jolteon's face masticated through MorphThing"[1], an image of a small Jolteon and Glaceon plushie next to each other (used by MycroProcessor in miscellaneous works around this same time), Pi(1998), the music video for "Midlife Crisis"(1992) by Faith No More, a brief audio sample from Wario Land 4(GBA, 2001), Käpt'n Blaubär, "Percent Song"(2008) by Dave Mitchell, "Son Of The Morning"(2009) by Akercocke, a 1962 toy commercial for Gaylord the Dog, Old Men in New Cars(2002), a 2000's-era South Korean educational short film on teaching the English language[2], the XTC song "Making Plans For Nigel"(1979), the Silly Symphony short Three Little Pigs(1933), Mortal Kombat(1995), Wowzer, The Room(2003), "Kukucska Performs Sonic Music on Cement Puzzle Pieces"(2009) by MycroProcessor, "Paranoid"(1970) by Black Sabbath("I CANNOT FEEL MY PEE-NIS"), Strike Witches, a fanmade clip from Angel Beats of Yui's "Yui-nyun~" edited to make her look like Touhou Project's Yuyuko Saigyouji, "‰Perceptions‰ 4.3 of the Raven's requests will link directly back to a book tray º% º%"(2010) by GameBop, footage from a filmed 1971 interview by Jacobo Zabludovsky of Salvador Dali, an image of a Jolteon Pokemon card, "'I Must Go,' She Said, 'But I Will Always Come Back'"(2009) by Morton Valence, a homemade parody painting of the Pulp Fiction theatrical poster, and edited promotional images from E.T.(The Extra-Terrestrial)(1982) and How I Met Your Mother.

It was the 51st match completed by GameBop, the seventh match completed by Metzgorrre and the 15th and final match completed by Moogle. With titles starting out fairly conventional, Metzgorrre's Round 3 title is interpreted to contain smiley face emoticons in its brackets around the words, which GameBop inverts into frowny faces for Round 4 and creates a new path in title progression. Moogle liberally uses much more complex emoticons in both of their remaining round titles, Metzgorrre creates a face with 7 eyes in Round 6 and GameBop adds an eighth eye to it and duplicates it, along with bookending with a pair of decidedly more "alien" faces in Round 7. A final surprised emoticon face appears in Round 9, before the title concludes in manic-appearing barely discernable text. GameBop's reverb-laden and visually saturated Round 4, "-:( you do not ):-"(2010), which TheChutley commented positively on for its "Awesome ambiance"[3], was known for many years for having never recieved any kind of thumbnail from YouTube -- a comment from mrdoognoog indicates that it finally recieved one sometime in 2020[4]. Metzgorrre's Round 6 and Round 9 uniquely feature abstract animated lines and MSPaint creations that seem to be self-provided. With Round 6 providing onscreen text to introduce its contents as clearly "youtube poop tennis", Round 7 follows this up with text that reads "Yellow Teal Purple Tennis", and provides a clearly visible background that transitions through all three colors in a hue cycle. Additionally, it was noted that a serrendipitous moment of mirrored Tommy Wiseau in The Room(2003) saying "NAH"(taken from his signature delivery of "I did not.") was repeated almost verbatim in "LOCKEKOFF IS DA NU BIG DUUB BOOM"(2010), Round 4 of fellow Set 3 match JakeSteel/SynaMax/SergeantBacon vs. Sploltoen vs. Kurkop(2010), which would have been uploaded only within a day of this match's Round 7.

Moogle's rounds in this match are among the most ambitious and visually/aurally complex of all of their tennis output, a product of them adapting in a unique and whimsical way to the changing maximalist stylistic standards around them at the time while still retaining a style grounded in humor and cheeky playfulness with their content. Upon seeing GameBop's Round 4, they commented "Now this one round of yours has nothing in common with my regular style... but I promise I'll do my best to adapt to it."[5] Round 5, "(˚ب˚ )oh yes indeed we do (˚ب˚)"(2010), provides a major and unforgettable pivot in match progression that ends up defining the exchange as a whole, with abstract, slow moving and sparse visual treatment of the previous round, often utilizing the pan-cropping of layers treated with aggressive Color-Curving and negative Unsharp Mask, underscored by a mostly unedited passage of dialogue from Old Men in New Cars of characters Harold, Martin and Peter attempting to reserve a hotel conference room. This dialogue becomes a main feature of the match -- usurping and then later being combined with the already signature "I'M A GREAT WHITE SHARK! WHAT DO I EAT?" from the first two rounds -- almost until its ends, only becoming obscured by Metzgorrre's concluding Round 9. Moogle subsequently expressed upon finishing this response, with regards to what it responded to, "I'm now convinced anything can be volleyed."[6] Throughout their other rounds, Moogle manages to create the image of a sun with a face, a "stick figure" using video frames, and multiple atypical shapes (including that of a Jolteon in three seperate parts) entirely through cookie cutting, pan-cropping and unusual masking of different video layers.

The match has acquired an enduring legacy, primarily due to the contributions within Round 1 and 5, as among the more quotable matches of the 3-Way Tennis Tournament as well as among its most humorous matches, similarly along with Futures Passed vs. TheChutley vs. vvaluigi(2010). JakeSteel commented on Round 3 "This is like, my favorite match ever. Already."[7] vel 17 subsequently named the match among her favorites in 2011.[8] Certain publically posted reviews of the match were biased heavily in favor of Metzgorrre; two separate posts indicate that this was done to break GameBop's seven-match-strong winning streak.[9] GeoRaga wrote "He had tough competition this match, facing two experianced Tennis veterans, but this didn't affect his performance at all. In fact, I would say that it made him better. Tennis Staff aside, his volleys were truly breathtaking and I would love to see him advance to the next round."[10] Metzgorrre himself had noted by this point that he "[didn't] have that much time I got on the last match"[11] due to school, leading to his work having somewhat less density and detail in their execution. Ultimately, Moogle became the surprise winner of this match with a combined judge and public score average of 0.82, above GameBop's 0.70 and Metzgorrre's 0.49, their only genuine win in this tournament after two defaults.[12] This secured them as the tournament's first of three finalists; they would later be joined by ChrisGendo and MycroProcessor in January 2011. With this match being the earliest to complete, these results came after an almost 3 month wait for the other matches in Set 3 to finish -- namely the others that were not JackTron7000 vs. ChrisGendo vs. CorruptionSound(2010) -- and Moogle proceeded to enjoy further weeks of downtime during the course of Set 4.

Moogle's rounds were privated along with most of their other tennis work following their quiet retirement from tennis sometime around 2014 or 2015, but were archived ahead of time thanks to circa-2013 efforts by Robotnikman to archive whatever YTPs were sent to him in a YouChew thread whereby Foghorn Scorpio proceeded to send him Moogle's "ffgasm" account. GameBop and Metzgorrre's rounds continue to survive in their original uploads. It was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in August 2021.
