ytptenniswiki is a wiki that's sole focus is everything about YTP Tennis and anything related that would be useful for a video tennis player/enthusiast. While the site is still greatly a work in progress, the goal is to document basically anything anyone would want to know when it comes to tennis stuff.

Contributions are made solely by the webmaster and the Tennis Staff. DIRECT public contribution, due to the hosting situation and the nature of a community like this, likely will never happen. However, anyone can suggest things to add to the site! It just has to go through the staff (or myself) first.
To prevent vandalism and maintain a quality standard, only the Tennis Staff by default are allowed to edit the site. Other trusted members of the community can also apply to edit the wiki directly. If you are interested in contributing, go to the discord help server.

There are several distinct stylistic changes I wish to impose that set this apart from Chewiki and other similar projects:

* Add references whenever possible so claims can be backed up, etc. Source pages are generated automatically, so be sure to add a "=Sources=" header to the very bottom of the page (should be the last thing in the document) in order to separate the generated references from the rest of the page's content.

Looking for something to do? Check :Special:ShortPages and :Special:WantedPages. These have the shortest pages or things that are missing, respectively.

Creating a Match Page
If you have a match page you want to make, start by getting approval from the others to make sure it would be acceptable. From there, copy in the Match Template and start filling in information. Make sure to get the following:
* The name of the match
* Its type (vanilla, chain, MTT, etc.)
* Who played in it
* The start and end times (if possible)
* 1-2 notable images and quotes from the match
* The link to its corresponding thread, on YouChew, YTPMania, YellowTealPurple, etc.
* If the match was complete, the corresponding completion number for each player ("This is Johnny's 32 completed match and Jenny's 39th.") Especially important if it was any player's first or last game.
* The rounds themselves - a YouTube link, the title and player. This can be generated with TennisWikiMatchPageTool, available on the help discord
* A YouTube link of the match compilation, if one exists. This can be easily done with GameSetMatch
* All notable citations and references

Feel free to ask around if you need more help, or read the documentation comments on related templates and pages to see what to do.

Creating a Tool Page
Tool pages (like video editors) are only necessary if they have documentation that goes beyond a simple summary, such as tips and tricks. When this is the case, there may already be an entry on its related category page, such as List of Video Editors. If not, or if you realize an expansion is possible, make a page and add the related data.
