| This article is about a notable Tennis Match. This match was played during the following years:2007 |
| This tennis match was played without the use of the common editor VEGAS Pro (Sony Vegas). |
RabbitSnore vs. conradslater was a Youtube Poop Tennis match that took place between December 6 and December 14, 2007. Rabbit desired to play Conrad himself as soon as he had seen and reviewed the first tennis match between him and Misselaineous10, the latter whom he also would have been concurrently playing at the time of this match's beginning in the Tennis League 1. The loose rules laid out were "48 hour turnover, 6 rounds, unless we want to go for more, Not really a hell of a lot more than that..."[1] Sources added include No More Heroes(Wii, 2007)[2] a very early use of Chad Warden, Tim and Eric Awesome Show: Great Job!, a commercial for French Natural Juice, "A video comparing the showering habits of men and women", "I'm listening to Steriod Maximus whilst working",[3], the opening to Final Fantasy X-2(PS2, 2003), Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty(PS2, 2001), the intro to Lost, the music video for "Stupid Girls"(2006) by P!NK, Star Wars Episode II: Revenge of the Sith(2005), Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope(1977), Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back(1980), Super Mario Bros.(1993), various clips of deliberate fetish content, the song "Canaries In The Mineshaft" by Manorexia, the song "Across the Universe"(1998) as covered by Fiona Apple, and footage of Conrad Slater himself as taken from uploads such as "Sonrad Clater"(2007) and a homemade short film starring him titled Blood Red(2007).[4]
It was the seventh match played by RabbitSnore and the sixth match played by conradslater[5]. A match between the then-future co-leader and the then-current leader/owner of the YouChew forums, between Tennis's first "Tennis Fuck" and its inventor, it very quickly became a match enshrined as legendary and immensely influential due to the storied history of its players in regards to the early YTP community, the wild and at times unrestrained content of and the unique approach taken with each response, the longform literary content of the video descriptions of each round, and for being a very early match to go all the way to 9 rounds. In discussing the match in 2026, Furnessly added some context for this era of YouTube in which the match was played, referring to its frequent uses of fetish content:
"In the early days of YouTube, it was a completely different time. You got fetish videos, no age restrictions, no removals, something you can't believe now. I am not joking, there were more videos of women farting than there were of YTP (as in the video remixes later known as YTP, SuperYoshi, etc, I think YTP was part of the shift on YouTube regarding content). All publicly there."[6]
The match was intended to go to Round 10, but conradslater declared the match completed when his final turn came around, considering RabbitSnore's Round 9, "Syphozoa Synthesis"(2007), to be an appropriate finale to the match.[7] RabbitSnore vs. conradslater is tremendously experimental and challenging even for its era, with the final two rounds taking up about 10 minutes of the 25 minute runtime, making for easily the longest match to be played in the first months of tennis as a whole. Most rounds are crafted through longform, gradual edits to the material, with Rabbit's rounds in particular opting for PiP framing for multiple segments that are then repeated in unison for minutes at a time. Conrad's Round 6 creates the largest pivot in direction the match takes by being made largely up of added footage, with much of the previous round being contained within an introductory montage. The final four rounds all contain footage of Shigeru Miyamoto at the 2005 E3 showcase for the Nintendo Wii, in which he asks to the audience in introducing Wii Sports(Wii, 2006), "Tennis, anyone?" The final round consists of a slow moving tapestry of every previous round in the match reused -- in reference to the long, surreal descriptions uploaded with each round, Rabbit remarked of this round "I think I successfully saddled the jellyfish, but I'll let each person decide that for him- or herself."[8]
RabbitSnore subsequently considered this match in high regard, referring to it as one of his proudest moments and one the best, most challenging and extreme matches he ever played. In his description for the match's playlist on his YouTube channel, RabbitSnore wrote that it was "Considered by many to be a groundbreaking match, called 'one of the most amazing things he had ever seen' by PapaGonzales"[9]. TurkeyBeef regarded the match upon its conclusion as "Certainly great, but certainly creepy as well."[10] Crash2991, upon first seeing the match, remarked "I was expecting ear rape and extreme stutters, but I was left jaw-dropped. That was beautiful."[11] The match was cited multiple times in the early Tennis Cafe threads as part of an early canon of great matches used in the deeper discussions about tennis that were developing, often alongside conradslater vs. Miss10(2007) and MilkR0und vs. Y2Zero(2007). Speaking about the match in March 2008, Crash2991 explained "It wasn't like most tennis matches. It wasn't a crazy (as in stutters ear rape). It was a more thought out type of thing"[12], signifying the match as one of the earliest templates of tennis being approached as less of an offshoot of standard YTP and more as an art in its own right. RabbitSnore additionally reflected, "I suppose my match with Conrad showed some of the intricacies of experimenting with material, extremism, varied styles, and 'a wetting of the feet in the waters of AMV.'"[13] The match was soon after listed among the "Top 5 Good Tennis games to learn from" in RabbitSnore's early tennis document The Recreational Guide to [YTP] Tennis[14], and was one of 25 matches added to YouChew's old Tennis: Archives forum to preserve important matches from the "Vanilla" era forums in April 2008. ChrisGendo additionally listed the match as among her favorites in 2011.[15] It was potentially the first match to have been seen by Moogle.[16]
While Conrad's tennis material was privated for many years before being made public again in late 2025 in anticipation of the documentary "The World of Youtube Poop" by Clique Here, in which he is prominently featured, his rounds for this match remain private presumably because of their content. They were however already reuploaded on TennisFacksJr in October 2024 about a year before his reappearance. RabbitSnore's rounds became lost when his account vanished from YouTube in October 2019, and remained in that status for seven years until they were all rediscovered in hard copy archives originally made by Foghorn Scorpio. This makes for the second full match played by RabbitSnore to survive intact as of the present day, along with strong414bad vs. RabbitSnore(2008). His rounds were subsequently reuploaded to TennisFacksJr, and the match was first compiled into a single video on the YouWouldBeWelcome account in August 2026.

Description: "Having dipped his toes into the water of AMV river Rabbitsnore somehow mangaed to keep the mechandise dry. Perhaps it was in an inflated plastic bag like you see in Indian Jones style movies - of the sort in which a woman complains and gets here shirt (which has been tied off above her mid drift) wet and the stubble chinned hero has to use a cigarette to burn off a leach.
So despite all this care I've now taken the merchandise and drowned it into the river of AMV. The music is Canaries in the Mineshaft by Manorexia but there is still some residual sound left over (at 20x speed) plus a whoel bunch of layering and big boost to the colour and all the life bleeds out.
If there is to be a round 9 (which I kind of hope so) then it will have to be cannibalising the living flesh rather than trying to using the previous skeleton to graft on new material - to do that would be like try to fit a saddle onto a jelly fish."[17]
Round 9
"Syphozoa Synthesis" by RabbitSnore
Description: ""In the previous round's description, Conrad said that I would have to cannibalize the living flesh of the match rather than graft new material onto the established skeleton, as that would be like trying to fit a saddle on a jellyfish. Partly out of pride and partly out of a sense of pure fun in challenge, I took it upon myself to do just that: fit a saddle on a jellyfish, then ride it into the sunset.
Two rounds ago, I somehow kept the puppy of the match safe from the hurtful punk kids of AMV who would put the puppy in a plastic bag and beat it against a tree. When I handed the puppy over to Conrad for the following round, he opted to throw the puppy as far and hard as he could into oncoming traffic, and then he dared me to try and keep it alive, thinking that there was almost no way for it to be done. So either I could go back to the pet shop and get a new puppy that looked sort of the same, like what Conrad did in round five, or I could attempt CPR on a small puppy that had been crushed under the wheels of a tractor trailer.
I think I have to some degree, managed to keep that puppy barely alive, clinging to its existence, though I have brought back all the previous puppies of the past rounds to visit it during this tough time.
So it comes back to the jellyfish: I'll someone else decide whether I have accomplished the task of finding a suitable saddle for the jellyfish, one which would allow me to ride triumphantly into the sunrise. I'm satisfied with the saddle I've put on this scyphozoan.
When Conrad goes to make round ten, he says that he knows exactly what he's going to do and that it will be funny. Considering what he managed to pull off in the sixth round, I imagine it will be hilarious, though I would love to see him at least attempt to reign this wild jellyfish, somewhere amongst the assured madness of round ten."[18]
